Yes, yes, we are talking about GTA again here. The speech will be very emotional and simple.
GTA 5 (more precisely V) has become not just a topic on forums from the category “What would you like to see?", but a very real project with a real trailer. With gameplay(. ) moments.
GTA, for me personally, stands apart from many game series. Diablo, GTA, Starcraft, Deus Ex – these are the franchises for which I am calm in the good sense of the word. They’re like good wine, they just get better. But (. ) only in capable hands and under the necessary storage conditions.
Which “new” game am I ready to replay right now?? GTA 1, 2, 3, VC. What game made me go to the CD store in the pouring rain (as I remember now :)) or terrible heat? GTA 3, VC, SA. Which game in the series am I looking forward to without a doubt?? GTA.
I bought SA when I was on vacation in Montenegro. I saw the disc and couldn’t resist 🙂 And GTA 3, “published” by the Fargus company, someone stole from me) It’s a pity, of course, but I still remember the cover.
So that’s what all this nostalgic snot is about… The GTA series has always been something special for me or something. I was always waiting for a new game and it took me away from the world for a couple of days. Each game corresponded to the spirit of the times and was 102% relevant. I’m glad that there are companies that create games that can touch something not only in the brain, but also in the soul 🙂 No matter what anyone says about GTA, about the harshness of the games, but each new game in the series amazes the brain and remains there for many years. And not only the brain, which is important 🙂
Let’s wait for GTA V simply because R* know their stuff.
Problems of a technical nature have also become for me the “calling card” of the game series 🙂 In GTA 2, take turns, t.To. “I didn’t go without a disk”. GTA 3 didn’t want to start due to sound bugs, VC for about the same reason, SA crashed desperately, and GTA 4 naturally slowed down 🙂 I’m almost happy about it)

p.s. Recently there was a post about the decade of GTA 3. I remember that I played this game for the first time in a computer club (and you still have some of these in your city)?) under the name, attention, Vault 13. “Perennial” is the first car that I printed on the wall of the in-game world 🙂

I played both VC and SA, but it was GTA IV that really touched me. If I’m not mistaken, it came out in the winter, and I immediately rushed to the store to get it. And I can’t forget those moments in my life when, after walking in the cold, I came home, sat down in a cozy chair, poured myself some hot tea and played this amazingly atmospheric game, albeit with the brakes, but it didn’t really bother me, for the sake of such a game, I was ready to sacrifice it.
The first time I got hooked on the first part (the one with the top view) was back when I was at school =) I actually started it there =)
While everyone was playing the first StarCraft on a grid, I, like the wrong child, chose GTA.

I don’t really like GTA. I passed the fourth one with interest, but I didn’t really like the rest. I just had enough time to drive around the city and create chaos. the fourth is somehow more serious. although it’s also not without its drawbacks.

On the 10th anniversary of GTA 3 there was a sale on Steam, I immediately bought the most successful part in my opinion in terms of atmosphere – Vice City, and the most relevant one – GTA 4..
GTA SA taught me to drive with my left hand and use my mouse to look around with my right hand. Before this, in all races like Need For Speed, I drove with my right, but now driving with my left seems almost more natural. And a fixed camera, like in NFS World, generally creates the feeling that you are wearing blinders. By the way, for the same reason, I will probably never play GTA 3 and GTA Vice City again. The games are great for their time, but once you get used to the more convenient controls, you feel uncomfortable playing them.
In general, I want a new GTA SA, the same big and vast sandbox, but in a modern manner, with modern graphics, animation, car physics, etc.d. Even though it is inferior in realism to GTA IV, you could play it for months.

VC and SA evoke severe nostalgia! The games were and still are great.I still play GTAIV to this day.
