29 May Firenze at Night
While the city is full of life and beauty during the day, something about Firenze at night may be even more beautiful, or at least a different type of beauty than during the day. Firenze at night is still filled with life, but more Italians seem to be out simply roaming the streets looking for a good drink. Italian night life is much different than life during the day. There aren’t any tour groups to dodge, there are fewer cars and vespas to navigate through, and there aren’t as many street vendors try to sell umbrellas, or various other products. At night, there’s a calming emptiness in the streets, despite there being people around. The city seems to slow down despite its active night life, allowing people to just stroll the streets more leisurely and enjoy the lights of the city. Seeing the city aglow and empty in comparison to the business of the day is an entirely different experience that possesses its own beauty; a beauty that everyone should experience.
